TRAINING

The overall goal of the work package is to enhance scientific and soft skills of the scientific staff of the beneficiary institution, including early stage researchers (ESRs) and post-doctoral researchers (PDRs), building the capacity of Institute of Geography and Spatial Management (IGSM) staff and preparing to face challenges in setting up research teams and establishing a Centre of Excellence in IGSM. The work package addresses the following specific objectives:

  • training of ESRs and PDRs of IGSM in project writing / project development, specifically addressing capacities and complexities of Horizon Europe programme, and in leadership skills, through staff exchange or research visits in the institutions within, and beyond the consortium;
  • training of ESRs and PDRs of IGSM in geospatial and Earth observation technologies, including advanced data analytics techniques;
  • training of ESRs of IGSM in scientific writing.
